He has a graduate degree in Biological Sciences from Universidade de São Paulo (1998) and PhD in Genetics from Universidade de São Paulo (2003). He has experience in Biochemistry, focusing on Molecular Biology, acting on the following subjects: transcriptome, Bothrops insularis, toxins biochemistry, DNA, molecular evolution and biotechnology.
